The financing combines strategic private<br \/>\ninvestment from Lince Capital, Explorer Investments and Armilar Venture<br \/>\nPartners with funding awarded under Portugal&#8217;s Recovery and Resilience Plan<br \/>\n(RRP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Founded<br \/>\nin 2020 by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/chiaramanfletti\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chiara Manfletti<\/a>, Neuraspace develops an AI-powered platform that<br \/>\nhelps commercial, institutional and defence satellite operators monitor and<br \/>\nmanage increasingly complex space environments. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The<br \/>\nplatform combines data from commercial and sovereign sensors with<br \/>\nhigh-precision orbit determination, AI-enabled risk and threat assessment, and<br \/>\nautonomous decision support to detect, assess and respond to collision risks,<br \/>\ncyber threats, radio-frequency interference, and other emerging space security<br \/>\nchallenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The<br \/>\ninvestment comes as satellite operators face growing operational and security<br \/>\nchallenges in an increasingly congested and contested space environment.<br \/>\nAlongside rising collision risks, operators must contend with cyberattacks,<br \/>\nGNSS spoofing and jamming, radio-frequency interference, and increasingly<br \/>\nsophisticated counterspace activities that require continuous monitoring and<br \/>\nrapid decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According<br \/>\nto Chiara Manfletti, CEO of Neuraspace, the company has expanded its mission<br \/>\nbeyond making space safer to helping operators respond to both accidental and<br \/>\nintentional threats, as the distinction between safety and security continues<br \/>\nto narrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>This<br \/>\ninvestment marks the beginning of Neuraspace&#8217;s next phase of growth as we<br \/>\nexpand Europe&#8217;s sovereign capabilities in space domain awareness while<br \/>\ndelivering the AI-enabled operational services required by the next generation<br \/>\nof commercial, institutional and defence missions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The<br \/>\nfunding will support the expansion of the company&#8217;s commercial and defence<br \/>\ncapabilities through further development of its AI platform, accelerated<br \/>\nautonomous mission operations, and expansion of its proprietary optical sensing<br \/>\ninfrastructure.
